Toby is doing so well with his goggles and he doesn't mind them at all. He seems to know how handsome he is in them!
And, he seems to find them comfortable enough to wear on long walks.
When you are this handsome, you can really start a trend in eyewear!
And, once in awhile, you just have to shake your head and let the eyes behind the goggles come to the light of day! Oh, if only Toby could see the light of day! But, at least the goggles protect his delicate eyes;-)
Toby decided to take full advantage of the warmth of today.
He sought out the sunniest spot, which was the backyard. And, since it was so hot outside, he made sure that his hind end was in contact with the coolness of the snow;-)
Ahh...sunshine and relaxation are the best combo ever!
But, one can only chill out for so long before it is time to stretch.
And, then the stretch turns into a modified play pose.
Finally, he started thinking about doing the zoomies...and then chose to go inside for his carrot snack instead.
Really missing our Lady Flame today. But, luckily we received our bright, orange Shutterfly envelope with photos of our sweet girl. These photos will be put into the cute frame that Lady Flame's, Auntie Veronica, gave us for Christmas. Here is one of our favorite photos, and the first one to grace the frame. Thanks, Veronica!
Toby insists on laying out on the deck even when the windchill is 25F. So, we have to cover him with his blankie.
Which he then proceeds to walk around with as it slowly slips off. He is one regal pup in a dorky dog kind of way!
Toby is in mega snooze mode today. I kinda feel the same way!
We all needed some outdoor time, so Trouble, Sugaree and Shannon came over for a visit. You will notice that we all took precautions to stay apart at a safe 6'+ distance during this COVID-19 pandemic.
Trouble was very happy to see Drew.
Sugaree tottered around enjoying the outdoors.
She eventually enjoyed some time in the sand.
Then, Trouble got the yayas and ran around some more.
and, some more.
Then, it was time to look beguiling...
and just plain cute.
After which, Sugaree found a sun puddle to totally chillax in.
Several years ago, after being unsuccessful in finding goggles that would fit a Greyhound head and schnozzle (we tried Doggles and Rex Specs to name a few), we gave up for awhile. Then, this year, after two eye injuries within 4 months, Drew fashioned a visor for Toby, but Toby disliked it so much that he refused to go for long walks. So, back to Amazon.com for one more desperate look. And, luckily Drew found the best goggles thus far! We think that they'll be a success.
Meet the Namsan Large Breed Dog Goggles! They actually fit a Greyhound head. Although, you do have to reseat them if the dog shakes his head;-)
They are large breed dog sunglasses that are windproof and snowproof.
And, Toby can change his identity by putting them on and off in a flash!
Who is that handsome, masked blonde hunk of a dog???
