Missing the high energy of the Trio...

Oh...my... I awoke this morning missing that which was... 

youngish, mighty pups playing hard. 

That rough and tumble world kept us laughing...

And, kept us in constant wonder at the roughness of the play.

The hard core unity and friendship of this trio was amazing.

Sugaree and Lady Flame were fast friends. Having them both cross the bridge within a year of each other was devastating for us and for Trouble...

Trouble seems to have developed a sense of fun to make up for the loss of his buddies. But, he is still Trouble and he is the last of the trio to survive. He still has some serious spunk! We Love You, Trouble!

Sweet Sugaree crossed over the Rainbow Bridge today.

We were brought to tears upon learning that Sugaree had crossed over the Rainbow Bridge today. Billy and Shannon, we share your heartache...

 She was one of a kind...She was so full of life, love, and zip. 

And, Sugs was one huggable hound, that is for sure. We always thought of her as the Marilyn Monroe of greyhounds...

Speaking of zip, even when she could barely keep her balance (with 4 on the floor), she still wanted to run with her brother. We loved every inch of her...

I love this last family photo that I got to take of Sugaree with you two. She was one of the most beloved hounds there ever was. Thank you for giving us the pleasure of sharing in Sugaree's joie de vivre over all these years...

Trouble and Sugaree came to visit

We all needed some outdoor time, so Trouble, Sugaree and Shannon came over for a visit. You will notice that we all took precautions to stay apart at a safe 6'+ distance during this COVID-19 pandemic.

Trouble was very happy to see Drew.

Sugaree tottered around enjoying the outdoors.

She eventually enjoyed some time in the sand.

Then, Trouble got the yayas and ran around some more.

and, some more.

Then, it was time to look beguiling...

and just plain cute.

After which, Sugaree found a sun puddle to totally chillax in.

Trouble and Sugaree visit to stretch their legs

Trouble and Sugaree have been getting cabin fever of late, and needed to stretch their legs a bit.

They came over for a short while, and we enjoy any time we get to spend with them. Sugaree was a lovey dovey today.

I feel the need to photograph her as much as possible as she is getting a bit frail.

And, then there is Trouble. He is such a goofball and he makes me smile.

He has so much enthusiasm for life.

And, he has so much love for his buddies, including us.

We should all be so footloose and carefree! Rock on, Trouble!

I feel the need to take family photos, as often as possible, as we need all the memories we can get while the pups are healthy. Billy and Shannon are great parents to their pups.

Trouble had a blast running from Drew to me

We are taking advantage of this nice, cold weather to get as much snowy play in with Trouble and Sugaree as possible.

He is such a happy hound!

Trouble was ecstatic, as you can see!

Look out world, here comes Trouble!

He kept running around the yard with a goal of being pet at the end of each run.

Trouble got Sugaree excited as well. She is a bit wobbly on her feet, but she stayed upright!

And, Sugs kept running!

Then, it was time to take a breather...and she was alert for more play!

Sugaree is such a pretty old gal.

She walked around and hung out in a sunny spot to stay "warm."

Then, it was inside for some relaxation. And, Greyhounds are well known for their 20 hours per day of chilln' out! Trouble is way too cute and lovable!

Trouble and Sugaree came over for a visit today.

Trouble really had a blast and got to cut loose at full Greyhound speed!

He would run into the shoot and blast out into the yard!

We love our Trouble!

And, Sugaree cut loose as much as a 13 year old Greyhound could;-)

She enjoyed walking around the yard. She absolutely loves the snow.

And, then gave Sugaree some extra lovin'!

Cheers to the Sweet 13 Birthday Girl! Yay!!! You only turn 13 once in a lifetime and we hope that Sugaree can kick up her heels a bit on this special day;-)

She does love snuggling with her brother, Trouble. So, that also makes her day!

 Now that Lady Flame is romping around in Doggy Heaven, we have to get our girl-dog fix with sweet Sugaree.

Who doesn't love a black dog gone grey!

Sugaree is going to be Sweet 13 in December!
