Invisible Intruder Alert
Toby: "Intruder Alert! Intruder Alert! Intruder Alert!"
Me: "Huh? What intruder? Ohhh...you mean that something that was lurking in the woods outside the fence?"
Toby: "Grrrr... Ruff!!!"
Me: "Ummm... it is probably long gone by now, Toby. You're safe because you're inside the fence."
Toby: "Intruder Alert! Intruder Alert! Intruder Alert!"
Me: "Enough already! Go outside, scare him off, and settle down."
Toby: "Let me at him! Grrr.... Ruff, Ruff, Ruff, BARK, BARK, BARK!!!!!!!"
Me: "Toby, we'd really like to get some sleep tonight. Can you please settle down and go to bed?"
Toby: "Okay, Mom... I'm exhausted from all the barking..." ruff...ruff...ruff...!" Snore..."woof!"

That he is. I'd be petrified if I came upon him guarding the yard. He prances with his tail held high to make himself look bigger.
He sounds good and fierce! I don't think any intruders will dare come in your yard.
