Pups in snow

Our pups love snow. Lady Flame was especially ecstatic and she has been able to run with wild abandon during the duration of this storm which dumped 12 inches of new powder for us to play in.

Unfortunately, Toby has to be on leash as he can't see his way to navigate the pathways in the backyard. When Drew walks him, he ranges back and forth from one wall of snow to the other, on the path, so he has a grasp of where he is. We can't even let him off-leash, to do his helicopters, as he would end up out in the middle of the deep snow and wouldn't be able to find his way back. So, he'll have to wait until tomorrow, for his daily walk, to get his yaya's out.

Lady Flame was having so much fun that she didn't want to come inside. But, the lure of a carrot proved enough to trick her. She is truly a snow bunny;-)
